Office Downsize
Global Real Estate Investment Client

Method

After providing workplace services there for over 10 years, the Livv team had developed a deep understanding of the client’s culture and had become a trusted member of the client team. Livv worked closely with the client in re-imagining the workplace strategy and experience.

A member of Livv’s Social Value team was engaged to curate a calendar of Environment, Social and Governance-supporting activities. The baristas were provided via a charitable social enterprise to give disadvantaged people useful training and employment.

Livv redesigned a Global Real Estate Investment client's workplace experience during a downsizing relocation.

Objective

Requirement to optimise its London headquarter requirements by relocating and downsizing the space by 50% from approximately 35,000sq ft. This involved a move and a complete redesign of the workplace services that also included measurable Social Value.

The planned move date was uncertain and the supplier needed to have the resources to bring to this project at short notice to ensure a smooth relocation of services and transition to the new workplace service. The TUPE consultation process needed to be managed in a sensitive manner in keeping with the client’s and Livv’s respective brand values.

Result

Following a rigorous tender process, Livv was appointed to provide an integrated facility service, including FM helpdesk, workplace, M&E and hospitality; incorporating a barista-style café reception welcome, management of a healthy employee snacking programme and a cross-trained workplace team under an optimised model. The new services were mobilised in approximately one month.
